When it was time to deliver our loyal fans a classic Sugar Cookie, we searched through our recipes for this family favorite. When we pulled the first batch from the oven, we could hardly wait to see if we lived up to Poppa Don's mastery of this treat. Luckily, we did!
More than one person has proclaimed these to be better than any Sugar Cookie they have ever eaten. A neighbor even said Poppa Don's recipe is better than their mother's... We won't say who told us this since we promised not to get them in trouble.

We recommend putting your cookies into an airtight container or a bag with a zipper. This will keep them fresh for a week or more... Most people (We are most people here at Pip and Snickle) eat the whole dozen in the first day, but some of you have more self-control than we do.
