The Oatmeal Coconut cookie was created for Mrs. Finch, owner of the Whistlewick Diner. She asked Pip and Snickle for something that was tasty but milder than many other sweet treats. She said it had to go perfect with a hot cup of tea. She wanted them for her customers. The first day she sold them, she sold out. She placed a triple-order the following day, she sold out then too. Pip and Snickle started sellign them at the Cookie Shoppe soon after.
Unlike your typical oatmeal based cookies, our Oatmeal Coconut cookies are a delightful balance of chewy and mild sweetness that begs to be eaten with friends over great conversation. But you have to be careful! Before you know it, you will have eaten every last one before your guests arrive.

We recommend putting your cookies into an airtight container or a bag with a zipper. This will keep them fresh for a week or more... Most people (We are most people here at Pip and Snickle) eat the whole dozen in the first day, but some of you have more self-control than we do.
